Cultural7 DaysCultural Bhutan Tour
A relaxed trip through Paro, Thimphu and Punakha, full of temples, crafts and everyday life in western Bhutan.

Travel from USA
Two flights, one long day of travel, and then the Himalayas. How American travellers reach Bhutan and how long to stay.
The journey
There are no direct flights from the United States to Bhutan. Every route connects through an Asian gateway, most often Delhi, Bangkok, Singapore or Kathmandu, where you join Drukair or Bhutan Airlines for the flight into Paro.
Because the journey is long, we suggest at least eight days on the ground. Guests who fly all that way and stay only four nights almost always wish they had stayed longer.
East Coast
New York, Washington or Boston to Delhi or Doha, then Paro.
West Coast
Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle to Bangkok or Singapore, then Paro.
Central
Chicago or Dallas via Doha, Delhi or Bangkok, then Paro.
